A lot of students here at Episcopal School of Jacksonville take the lunch workers for granted. In this interview, I aim to get to know more about the people who serve us lunch everyday. (The Sage workers chose to be anonymous.)

Do you personally enjoy the food provided by Sage dining?: “Oh yeah, I like The Beak and the food as a whole.”

Do you enjoy working at Episcopal doing dining?: “Yes, I do.”

Have you worked at other high school cafeterias?: “Yes.”

How do the other high school cafeterias you’ve worked at compare to Episcopal?: “This one is way better.”

Do you feel as though the students are respectful?: Worker 1: “Yes.” Worker 2: “Sometimes.”

What has been your best experience working for Sage so far? Worker 1: “The chicken wing day.”

What has been your worst experience working for sage so far? Worker 2: “Not getting paid during the spring break.”

For how long would you like to continue working for Sage? “Forever.”

What do you think could better Sage in years to come?: “More money and paid holidays.”
