Avengers: Endgame has easily ripped up box office records during its opening weekend, and it shows no signs of slowing down. The movie is the ultimate culmination of 11 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), a vision created by Anthony and Joe Russo.

The behemoth film only has to take down Avatar and Titanic in order to hold the record for highest grossing film.

The Russo brothers have been very vocal about their path to Endgame, and the meticulous planning that has gone into it is astounding.

Every Marvel movie has been a carefully crafted piece of the ultimate puzzle, making this universe nearly unlike any other film series in existence.

The studio has been fortunate enough to retain nearly all of their original cast members since the first Iron Man movie, only needing to recast one main character, the Hulk. Fortunately for publicity’s sake, the original Hulk movie did not garner nearly as much attention as most of the other MCU films.

It is this kind of cast and writing consistency that has led to such resounding success for the MCU.

Endgame officially wraps up “Stage 3,” and the Russo brothers claim that the studio has no intentions of slowing down.

The next film is Spiderman: Far from Home, which will have die hard fans searching for clues as to what Stage 4 has in store.
