NFSSE Halloween Celebration
November 12, 2019
On October 30th, Episcopal hosted a Halloween Festival for students from the North Florida School of Special Education (NFSSE). The event was an absolute blast for both Episcopal student volunteers and for the North Florida School’s students. It took place in the Parks and Lastinger plaza, and there were a variety of activities such as cookie decorating, arts and crafts, spikeball and ping pong. There was also music playing throughout the entire event, a surplus of food and trick or treat bags for every student.
I volunteered at the event and was stationed at the cookie decorating table. It was an amazing experience meeting and interacting with all the North Florida School’s students. The atmosphere was warm and inviting due to everyone present having such a great time.
For any Episcopal students interested in volunteering next year, make sure you seize the opportunity because it’s a decision you won’t regret. The NFSSE Halloween Festival is a blast!
