Thursday night of Homecoming Week, under the bright lights, many high school ladies came out to Jangro Stadium for an action-packed night of flag football. Powderpuff 2018 was filled with a great deal of action. The stadium was packed with many parents and students ready to watch! There were also a few food trucks and bouncy houses, too.

The first round began at 6:00 PM with the junior girls facing off against the sophomore girls. Although the juniors fell short of a win, they still played well. After and intense warm up, the seniors took on the freshmen. This was a close game, with the seniors winning on a buzzer- beater touchdown. Shortly after this game, the losing teams (freshmen and sophomores) went head-to-head. The freshmen took the win in this matchup, though both both teams played a great game.

Finally, 7:30 came around, with the championship round about to begin. The sophomores took on the seniors. The game was nerve-racking for everyone but also very exciting. The final score was 6-0, in favor of the sophomores. The seniors fell short, but they still had a fun time. Win or lose, this senior still considers it senior season.
