Technology has certainly presented society with a great deal of advantages; however, these advantages have come at a cost. Science has continued to prove that technology is impacting kids in a bad way.

Kate Risdon (‘19) shared, “I went out to dinner the other night, and the parents gave all three of their kids iPads to keep them quiet. It was just very sad to see that families could even have conversations at the dinner table anymore.”

Technology is turning into an addiction for children, teens and even adults. People abuse the power of what technology can do, when years ago, it did not even exist.

It is taking over our generation, although there are many positives to it.
