To My Love: Kaitlyn Sweder ’22
Kaitlyn Sweder is one of my favorite people in the whole wide world. So I decided to write a lovely poem about her, and I hope the ESJ student body enjoys…
To my love, with eyes like the brown dirt we walk all over
You make my heart stop, like when I find a four-leaf clover
Although you can’t drive, even though you’re almost seventeen
I can’t wait to see you driving around soon,
Oh wait that’ll never ever been seen
Your height and temper are the same size
But that’s okay, because your personality is the main prize
I love you so much, almost as much as I love your dad
Oh wait… that probably sounds bad
Enough about your dad, let’s focus on you
I’m sorry I lied about your eyes earlier, they’re actually baby blue
This poem is coming to an end, unlike our friendship
I hoped you loved this so much that you do a flip
THE END
