April is coming to an end, May has just begun, and everyone just celebrated Easter Sunday. It is interesting to hear what students did to celebrate the holiday. Each family seems to have a different tradition.

Kate Risdon ‘19 and her family go every year to a sunrise service. They all wake up at 6:30 AM and watch the sunrise and celebrate Jesus rising from the dead! She explains how “it is such a special tradition to my family and me. Although, it may be a hassle to wake up that early, it is always such a beautiful service in the end and it is something I will never forget doing with my family in the future.”

Luke Tipton ‘19 every morning on Easter wakes up and his family does an annual Easter egg hunt which leads to them finding their Easter baskets. He describes how “even being almost 18 years old it is still just as much fun as when I was younger. It is just so exciting to wake up on Easter morning knowing my parents set up that whole thing is truly a blessing.”
