The NBA season is right around the corner, with two season opener games on October 22, which will showcase two of the most anticipated games for the year. The first game starts at 8:00 PM (eastern time) and is between the New Orleans Pelicans, which drafted the number one draft pick Zion Williamson from Duke, and the Toronto Raptors, who are the previous NBA champions but are now without their star player, Kawhi Leonard, who left for the Los Angeles Clippers in free agency.

The second game starts at 10:30 PM (eastern time) and is between the Los Angeles Lakers and the LA Clippers. The matchup between the Lakers and the Clippers will prove to be interesting, as both teams recently underwent significant roster changes. The Lakers acquired Anthony Davis from the Pelicans, and fans are excited to see what Lebron James and Anthony Davis can accomplish together. As previously mentioned, the Clippers gained Leonard (the reigning finals MVP from the Raptors) through free agency and Paul George, a powerhouse small forward acquired from the Thunder, via a blockbuster trade this summer.

All NA fans should prepare themselves in the coming weeks and make sure they don’t miss a minute of the action on October 22. These games are going to be absolutely amazing, so start getting excited Basketball fans!
