As the seasons are beginning to change and as it is getting colder outside, that means fall fashion (and pumpkin spice lattes). Even though COVID has been the main focus of this year, the fashion industry did not stop setting amazing fashion trends. Below is a list of the most popular fashion trends for fall this year. I also linked some of my favorite pieces I will be buying.

Drawstring Details- A lot of fast fashion stores are coming out with super cute dresses and tops with a ruching effect and drawstring details. I would pair a cute drawstring dress with white sneakers to create a super cute but casual look.

Leather- Even though we live in Florida, a nice oversized leather jacket would look cute over a dress or a casual outfit to go have dinner with friends and family. Leather boots and skirts are also very popular for this upcoming fall.

Warm Colors- During this time the leaves are changing to a beautiful yellow-orange. This year warm yellows and oranges are very popular to wear, whether it be outerwear, a cute pair of pants or a nice top. For the fall time, I love to wear a chunky sweater. The warm colors really make it feel like fall.

Animal Spots, Stripes and Scales- Animal print has been and will continue to be a huge trend in the fall. You can incorporate this trend with accessories such as handbags, shoes and belts. There are also so many clothes in the fast fashion market that have animal print as well. I love wearing an animal print top with either black jeans or a skirt. Something animal print definitely should be a staple in your closet for this upcoming fall.

90’s Fashion- This whole year, 90’s fashion has been making a comeback through items like the claw hair clips, small purses, vintage jeans, funky sunglasses and kitten heels. These trends will continue to be relevant throughout the fall time and fashion experts are not expecting this trend to go away for a while.
