Jaguars Versus Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs were able to take over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Saturday’s AFC divisional round game at GEHA Field in Arrowhead Stadium. Chiefs’ quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, injured his lower leg during the first half of the game but still was able to lead the Chiefs to a 27-20 win.

Despite Mahomes’ injury, he still had a very impressive game. The superstar tight end for the Chiefs, Travis Kelce, seemed unstoppable offensively. Kelce had career-high receptions, going 14/17 for 98 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Jaguars’ running back Travis Etienne had a remarkable game with 62 rushing yards, with 10 carries and three receptions for 18 yards. Etienne forced five missed tackles on the ground, which enabled him to 41 yards after contact.

There were not many notable defensive performances during this divisional round game.

The Chiefs, overcoming this battle against the Jaguars, now turn to the AFC conference championship where they play the Cincinnati Bengals. The Jaguars are now finished after an extremely successful season.
