She meets friends and goes on adventures along the way and even hits it off with a fellow “hunter warrior” Hugo, who is trying to find his way off the ground and into the sky world. Hugo and Alita get themselves into trouble, and it leaves the movie closing with a big cliffhanger. Many viewers cannot wait until the sequel.
