The 65th Grammy Awards ceremony took place this past week at the Crypto.com Stadium, in Los Angeles. This year was filled with excitement and controversy, and if you missed it, we have a recap for you.

Beyonce won the Grammy Award for best dance/electronic album with her album Renaissance, pushing her total amount of Grammy awards to 32, which is now the record for the most Grammys won by a single person.

Harry Styles won best album of the year, with his album Harry’s House.

Lastly, Kendrick Lamar won best rap album of the year, with his album Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers.

Sam Smith performed his song “Unholy” in a satanic suit, and his dancers had blood and demonic looking costumes. Many fans were disappointed with this performance and found it inappropriate.

Also, Harry Styles received backlash from his speech when he said, “this doesn’t happen to people like me very often.” Many fans believed Beyonce deserved the album of the year award more than Styles.

This year’s Grammy Awards ceremony was historical and will go down in history as one of the best award ceremonies of all time.
