2026 Episcopal prom was held at the Jacksonville Zoo and was a night to remember.
From the moment everyone started to arrive at my friend Cora’s house to get ready, the energy and vibes were high.
There were some slow moments too, like when we all took grade pictures and friend group photos.
The weather was cloudy, but everyone made the most out of it. Pictures turned out good, despite the bad weather.
My friends and I also took some photos inside my friend Cora’s house before we left.
We did a big group photo with everyone and their dates, then all the girls together.
Prom was held at the zoo under an open air space. It was a bit chilly, so everyone was wearing sweatshirts on top of their evening attire.
There were heaters set up everywhere, which was nice, and people were dancing and forming a mosh pit on the dance floor.
“It was a delightful experience, and I loved seeing my teachers and friends,” said Kaley Salameh ‘25.
After the dance everyone got dressed up in their costumes and went to the after-party.
Amelia (my date) and I were shimmer and shine, the genies. She bought gold jewelry and tops to really fit the theme, which was duos.
Overall, I believe everyone had fun at prom, and it was an exciting night to remember.
